We have some hot new tracks to beat the winter chill and have posted some of them on You Tube, so take a look &amp; let us know what you think.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Ingredients:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">½ cup of oats</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">½ teaspoon of chia seeds</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">½ cup of almond/oat milk</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">1 tablespoon of coconut flakes</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">1 tablespoon of natural yoghurt</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">Nuts and seeds if you would like</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">Grated apple</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">Fruit for the topping– raspberries,</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">peach, strawberries, plum, fig</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong> </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Method: </strong>Mix all the ingredients, except the fruit for the topping, straight into the jar/cup, mix them all together. The jar can now be put in the fridge overnight and will be ready to go in the morning.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">The sugars from the fruits will sweeten the oats giving them a delicious flavour. The milk and yoghurt softens the oats overnight, making them easier to digest. </span></p>

<p>A quick note to let you know that after speaking to many of you over the first week back, we have decided Monday night&#8217;s class at 7.00pm, which falls on the Australia Day holiday (27th Jan) will be on as usual, as well as the Saturday (25th Jan) class at 10.30am.</p>
<p>A huge round of applause to all who braved those 40+ degree temperatures to come party with us last week at our &#8216;al fresco style&#8217; classes. It was an amazing effort and we had a ball!!</p>

<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>RECIPE CORNER</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>RAW CHERRY BOMBS</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>Ingredients:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">3/4 cup raw cacao powder pinch of salt 1/4 tsp of cinnamon 1/2 cup pitted fresh dates packed tight 1/4 cup honey 2 tablespoon coconut oil melted 1 table spoon vanilla bean paste/extract 10-15 pitted cherries 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder or desiccated coconut to roll in.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>Method:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">1. Pulse all the dry ingredients in a processor. Add the dates, oil, vanilla paste, and honey and process till completely combined. You may need to scrape down the bowl a few times to get it to a good consistency.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">2. Roll the fudge into small ball and then flatten into a circle. Place the berry in the centre and fold the circle up around the berry. Roll into a circle and dust with raw cacao/coconut, roll again to spread equally.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">3. Place on a plate and into the freezer to chill.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Enjoy!</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">As our thoughts turn to family &amp; celebrations for the upcoming Christmas season, keep in mind that too much of a good thing can be harmful to your health!</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Here are some guidelines to follow to avoid undoing all the work you’ve put into your health this year:</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Drink plenty of water! At least 2 litres a day can help flush toxins such as alcohol from your liver.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Eat fresh vegetables and fruit throughout the day. Foods we tend to eat at Christmas time tend to be rich, heavy foods. By making sure to snack on fruit, veggies &amp; nuts throughout the day, you can avoid the mid-afternoon energy slump &amp; regulate your blood glucose levels.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Avoid too many late nights! Sleep is important to repair &amp; rejuvenate your body. Sleep debt can lead to poor immune function, anxiety &amp; depression. With so many functions to attend, try to cap it so you can still get a good nights sleep.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">With the weather heating up &amp; the jumpers coming off, now is the time to work on your summertime zumbalicious body! We are including tips to help you achieve your health goals &amp; will be introducing healthy recipes for you to try at home.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">Our August challenge was a great success, with many people who completed the campaign. Awards will be handed out in the next couple of weeks to those who participated.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">With the election on this weekend, please note that there will be no class at Park Ridge, as they have their polling booth on that day. Please pass this onto your friends who may not receive our news letter.</span></p>

<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;"><strong>INGREDIENTS</strong></span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">Olive oil cooking spray<strong></strong></span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">1/2 cup sliced almonds<strong></strong></span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">1/4 cup whole-wheat flour</span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">1 1/2 teaspoons paprika</span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">1/2 teaspoon garlic powder</span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">1/2 teaspoon dry mustard</span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">1/4 teaspoon salt</span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper</span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">1 1/2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil</span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">4 large egg whites</span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;">Chicken fillets, sliced into strips</span></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #339966;"><strong>PREPARATION</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="color: #339966;">Preheat oven to 200°c. Line a baking sheet with foil. Set a wire rack on the baking sheet and coat it with cooking spray.<strong></strong></span></li>
<li><span style="color: #339966;">Place almonds, flour, paprika, garlic powder, dry mustard, salt and pepper in a food processor; process until the almonds are finely chopped and the paprika is mixed throughout, about 1 minute. With the motor running, drizzle in oil; process until combined. Transfer the mixture to a shallow dish.</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #339966;">Whisk egg whites in a second shallow dish. Add chicken tenders and turn to coat. Transfer each tender to the almond mixture; turn to coat evenly. (Discard any remaining egg white and almond mixture.) Place the tenders on the prepared rack and coat with cooking spray; turn and spray the other side.</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #339966;">Bake the chicken fingers until golden brown, crispy and no longer pink in the centre, 20 to 25 minutes</span></li>
